Is "Soundcloud Download" meant to be listen-only? I'm slightly confused by the wording, though of course it would be perfectly understandable if the creator doesn't want to allow downloads - I just wasn't expecting it since we also got the cover art.
Loved the zine though! Found it through the Fandom page and was surprised with all the little digital goodies it came with. For an indie project like this with what I think was only the first three installments at the time, that is some love from the community. <3
you can download, share or whatever with the album. As this is just an album for a fan project, I believe you have all the freedom with the content (at least mine). I just ask that, when sharing, give credit and not (under any circumstances) sell or charge any money for the songs!!!
the album is also on YouTube and bandcamp (for download too).
Ah, I see - to clarify, I meant that I didn't find a way to download from Soundcloud and assumed the option may have been turned off for a reason. Though I typically don't frequent that site, so I could very well just be unfamiliar. Thank you for your work though, the entire package is lovely!
so, im not a big fan of SoundCloud, so i think that is not possible download tracks from there, unfortunately. but, you can (as i mentioned before) do it tru a platform called Bandcamp. the lacey album is there and for free!! qnd thanks for saying that, i really appreciate it
No problem! I've collected it through bandcamp already, thank you. Fan Zines are all about contributions from a fandom's artists, so I'm more than happy to dive in where I can.
But I did also initially look up an article on how-to-geek on downloading soundcloud tracks if the creator sets their availability, so heads up in that I think the settings need to be toyed around with on that site, and that's most likely what caused the confusion.
